Before Ren
Before Ren, I was working about 14 hours a day, seven days a week, and still felt permanently behind. Suncrest Flowers was doing around $100K a year, but I had built a business that depended on me for almost everything. I was making flowers, answering customer emails, managing social media, updating the online store, answering the phone, coordinating deliveries, and trying to do all the little digital jobs after the actual flower work was finished.
My parents were helping too. My dad was driving deliveries, and my mom was processing flowers, filling buckets, and wrapping bouquets. My husband was basically working a second full-time job helping me with flowers while also carrying so much of our home life. Everyone was exhausted.
The hardest part was realizing what it was doing to my kids. They had learned not to ask Mom for much because Mom was always working. They knew to hurry and finish their homework so they could help with the flower shop. I had become so busy building a business for my family that I was missing my family.
I knew I could not solve that problem by working harder. I was already working as hard as I possibly could. I needed to figure out what I could hand off, and it had to make financial sense for the business.
Where the Instagram account stood: 1,627 followers and about 10,000 monthly account views.
What Ren changed
Enter Ren.
Ren did not just take over our social media. He started taking responsibility for the digital side of Suncrest Flowers. Our website, email marketing, online store, customer communication, automations, branding, SEO, Google, and all the little things that used to wait for me at the end of a 14-hour day started getting handled.
One of the biggest changes was that we stopped trying to serve everybody. Our phone used to ring constantly and interrupt production all day. Ren helped us build systems that filter and automate customer inquiries, and roughly 90% of those calls no longer need my attention. We became more selective about the work we accepted because we simply did not have the capacity to fulfill every low-budget order that came in.
At the same time, he helped the right customers find us.
- Grew and managed Instagram around the brand's garden inspired look, with content created in house: copywriting, graphic design, and short form video.
- Built the email program in Klaviyo: campaigns, automated flows, and the emails themselves.
- Set up systems that filter and automate customer inquiries, including Instagram DM automation in ManyChat.
- Took on the website, online store, branding, SEO, and Google visibility.
How the DM automation works
When someone comments on a post or reel, ManyChat replies by DM, checks whether they follow the account, and sends the link, so the link goes out without anyone typing a reply. In the screenshot, 142 first messages had gone out and 64.8% of people tapped the follow button, as of October 12, 2026.

- Someone comments on a post or reel. That is the trigger.
- They get a DM asking them to follow the account and tap "I'm following."
- The flow checks whether they follow. If they do, the link arrives right away.
- If not, they get one friendly reminder with a "Done, I followed" button. After a second check they get the link either way, so nobody gets stuck.
How the welcome email flow works
When someone joins the email list, Klaviyo sends a welcome email right away, then keeps the conversation going with one email about every two days. Past customers and first time visitors get a different first email.

- The trigger is someone being added to the email list.
- A split checks whether they have ordered before and sends the matching welcome email on day 0.
- The next emails go out about two days apart: the Suncrest story, bestsellers, gifting by occasion, value and quality, and a repeat purchase email.
Business results
Instead of relying on a constant stream of smaller orders, we started capturing larger ones. We booked weddings after weddings. People found us when they were planning events. Our average custom arrangement moved into roughly the $150 to $275 range. We started working with luxury brands that send flowers to their customers for birthdays and special occasions, and Suncrest became a trusted flower-delivery option for local Utah businesses.
Ren helped put us in front of people who were already searching for the kind of flowers we make. He helped improve our visibility on Google, strengthen the brand online, and create systems that filtered out work that was not a good fit while making it easier for higher-value customers to find and trust us.
That is how we made more while working less.
Suncrest went from roughly $100K to $150K in annual revenue, but we did not get there by stuffing 50% more work into my day. We got there by becoming a better business. We attracted larger orders, better-fit customers, weddings, events, corporate clients, and customers who valued what we actually do.
Instagram results
Reels carried most of the reach. Two numbered posts, Day 1 of 14 and Day 28, brought in the most new followers, with 594 and 433 follows.
Overview figures cover the last 90 days. Top post figures cover the past year. All numbers are from Instagram Insights, captured October 11 to 13, 2026.
Life results
And $150K is just the beginning. The difference now is that I have chosen what enough looks like for me. I have a hard stop. Growth is no longer allowed to take every hour of my life.
Ren more than pays for himself. He gave me my time back. He gave my parents their time back. He gave my husband his time back. Most importantly, I get to watch my kids grow up now. I get to pick them up from school. I get to be there for the little things that I used to miss because I was answering an email, taking an order, or finishing one more bouquet.
I have time for myself again too. After years of working so hard that I barely checked in with myself, I have had space to take care of myself, try new things, and figure out who I am outside of work.
Ren did not just help us market Suncrest Flowers. He helped us build a smarter business. We made more money, took on better work, gave our family their lives back, and removed the ceiling I had created by believing I had to do everything myself.
I work less. The business makes more. My family is happier. And I genuinely love my life.
